Pray for Sam

For those of you that don't know Sam, he has worked at Vesper Point for the past few years on work crew; this past year as head of work crew. He was starting his freshman year of college at Tennessee Tech before he sustained a severe neck injury, seriously damaging 3 of his vertebrae from landing funny on the slip 'n slide at school this past Saturday. Sam is in the ICU at Erlanger unable to move past his shoulders, other than barely being able to wiggle his hands and feet. The doctors are hopeful, but worry that he could be paralyzed. Sam's girlfriend, Maddie also worked at camp as the nanny last year and in the kitchen this summer and is about to start her senior year at Notre Dame. I wanted to pass the word along to encourage an abundance in prayer for Maddie's heart, Sam's family and friends, the doctors, and most imortantly for Sam's healing and his spirit through this whole process.
